Hi to all,

Our Spring Conference will be held April 6-8 at Lake Anna State Park. As usual, lodgings will be available for arrival Thursday and we’ll end the conference at noon on Saturday.

On Friday, April 7, we plan a trip to tour Leesylvania State Park and the Widewater tract that will be a future State Park. If you prefer, you can spend the day on your own at Lake Anna State Park or perhaps visit one of the National Battlefield Parks located in the vicinity.

Attached is a registration form. Please note that we’ve asked you to indicate whether you plan on doing the Leesylvania and Widewater tour. We need this information to arrange the vehicle(s) for transportation and for meal planning purposes.

We’ll have the usual bar and munchies arrangement on Thursday night. A continental breakfast (coffee, juice, and pastries) will be provided on Friday and Saturday. Lunch will be provided for those taking the Leesylvania and Widewater tour on Friday. We’ll have dinner Friday night at Lake Anna and you’ll be on your own for lunch on Saturday following the business meeting. If all of our plans gell, we think that the $5.00 registration fee will cover your meals for the conference. If this turns out to not be the case, maybe we’ll ” pass the hat” on Saturday.

In case you haven’t yet paid your membership dues for 2006, we’ve made the reservation form user friendly to accommodate dues payment as well as the conference registration fee.
